I’m Lisa, sometimes known as Vintage Dahling. Mother, daughter, sister, friend, with a serious day job.
By night I am an instagrammer (@vintage_dahling), board member, activist, miniaturist, seamstress, artist, bookworm, vintage enthusiast and on-line shopper.
I have a raging need to influence change for the better in children’s mental health services and advocacy for people that are unable to advocate for themselves.
I am a thinker and dreamer, hopelessly creative and terribly messy. You won’t find many interiors shots here, thankyou! I am inconsistent and not fond of rules. I wear my heart of my sleeve.
The name of my blog reflects many things – my love of miniature – whether dolls houses or other. It also reflects the state that I have found myself in, and to a degree – created for myself, over the last few years. We have been a family in crisis and your world, I have found, both becomes very small and I have also deliberately chosen for it to become very small. Retreating from the world in person, but taking solace in an on-line world of friendship and like-minded souls – a bit like finding your tribe.
Welcome to my pot-pourri of random ramblings.
